long-distance friendships are terrible because you can’t meet up with them whenever you want and hang out on any given day which is why when i’m president i’m relocating the entire human population into a 10,000,000 story skyscraper that also acts as a bridge from earth to the moon which comes with the added benefit of swinging the moon around like a fucking mace, god damn it’s gonna look so cool. what was i talking about

A Man with a sword.
a Man with an obsolete weapon.
In this Day and age it is commonly considered either a waste of time or a sign of weakness to devote oneself to mastery of an obsolete weapon. But what they dont realize is that it doesn’t matter whether the weapon is obsolete or not.
It is not mastery of killing that we seek.
It is mastery of the self and the mind. To be able to wield an object that is foreign too our bodies, neither leg nor hand. To become one with this object at such a degree that it becomes an extension of our character.
It becomes an extension of our body.
No longer foreign.
With such a knowledge and mastery we learn too apply it in other areas of our life. the other things in life that are foreign to our bodies,
Whether they be
Concepts… Objects… People…
We have learned through mastery how to deal with life and whatever it throws at us. We have learned how to seize our problems by the hand and master it the same way we seized our sword with the hand and mastered that.
So thus we become masters of combat.
Masters of the battlefield.
Masters of living.
A man with no sword
is a Man with an obsolete mind.
